The Sistema Microwave 880 ml plate has been specifically designed to store and heat pre-prepared dinners or leftovers for easy meals. Featuring cool to touch, easy lift tabs and removable steaming tray, distinctive Sistema KLIP IT easy locking clips and steam release vent in lid for splatter-free heating.

Durable Sistema Microwave range has steamers that make it easy to create nutritious meals, rice cooker, noodle bowl, breakfast bowl, soup mug and easy eggs.

Instructions For Use:

• Wash the steamer before first use
• Always make sure the lid is locked on and the vent is open before cooking
• When re-heating food, cook in short intervals, 1-2 minutes so food does not overheat
• Cut raw food in small even sizes to promote a quicker cooking time
• When cooking time ends, stir food and make sure it is cooked through. If it is not done, replace the lid and cook in 30 second – 1 minute increments until cooked through
• If storing food in the steamer ensure vent on lid is closed
• For long lasting results always make sure there is enough moisture either in the food or the container.

Recommended cooking times (using 950 W microwave – times will vary depending upon wattage of microwave used):

Green Beans

• One cup cook, 1-2 minutes
• Two cups cook, 2-3 minutes

Broccoli Florets

• One cup cook, 2 minutes
• Three cups cook, 3 minutes

Cauliflower Florets

• One cup, add one tbs water and cook 2 minutes
• Three cups, add two tbs water and cook 3 minutes

Carrot Coins

• One cup, add one tbs water and cook 2 minutes
• Three cups, add two tbs water and cook 3 minutes

Frozen mixed vegetables

• One cup cook, 3 minutes
• Three cups cook, 5 minutes

If after cooking time you want vegetables softer, cook in 30 second intervals until desired texture is achieved.

Do not use your Sistema Microwave Steamer in:

• A conventional oven, on a hot plate, under the grill or on the stove
• A convection microwave oven using convection settings
